We built DreamOracle on a single principle: your inner life belongs to you, not to us. This policy explains exactly what we collect, how we use it, and what we never do.
Last updated: June 1, 2026When you create an account, we collect your email address and the name you provide. When you submit a dream for interpretation, we store the content of that submission along with any metadata you provide — mood, tags, date, and time. We do not collect payment card information directly; all billing is handled by our payment processor.
We collect minimal usage data to keep the service running: which pages you visit, when you logged in, and basic diagnostic information if an error occurs. We do not use tracking pixels, third-party analytics cookies, or behavioral advertising tools.
Your dream content is used solely for the purpose of interpretation. It is shared with your assigned oracle interpreter and stored in your private vault. It is never used to train artificial intelligence models, shared with advertisers, sold to data brokers, or disclosed to any third party except as required by law.
Your email address is used to deliver your interpretations, send optional journaling reminders (which you control), and communicate with you about your account. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
Your oracle interpreter reads your submitted dream in order to prepare your interpretation. After the interpretation is delivered, your dream remains in your private vault, accessible only to you. Our support team may access account-level information (not dream content) if you request help with a technical issue.
No other person or entity has access to your dream content. Not our investors. Not law enforcement, except under a valid legal order. Not our founders. Your dreams are yours.
Your dream journal, interpretations, and account data are retained for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days. We do not maintain backups of deleted account data beyond this period.
You can export your complete dream archive at any time from your profile settings (Oracle Pro) or by contacting us (Free plan).
We use a small number of third-party services to operate DreamOracle: a payment processor for billing, a transactional email service for delivering interpretations and account notifications, and cloud hosting infrastructure for storing your data securely. All providers are contractually bound to handle your data in compliance with applicable privacy law.
We do not use third-party analytics services that track you across websites. We do not embed social media widgets that report your activity to social platforms.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account settings. For requests that require manual processing, contact us at privacy@dreamoracle.co and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively. We honor these rights for all users regardless of location.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. You will have the option to delete your account before the new policy applies if you do not agree with the changes. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page.
